Yet another team may be in the mix for former Jags safety Donovan Darius, as the St.Petersburg Times is reporting today that the Tampa Bay Bucs have contacted Darius about his services. The 31-year-old safety has already been to both Oakland and Carolina for visits, this after being released by the Jags last week. He does have a history of injuries, which may scare the Bucs away. GM Bruce Allen spoke about Darius yesterday on the last day of mini-camp for the club. “We’ve checked into Donavin Darius, ” Allen said. “But we like where we’re at right now.”
