Bucs Practice In Pads Again Without Brooks
Posted by Matt Loede on July 31st, 2007 in News

For the second straight day, the Buccaneers practiced in pads at Disney yesterday morning. The team did practice without linebacker Derrick Brooks, who injured his hamstring during Friday afternoon’s practice session. Brooks did some work on the side after practice and it’s not known how long he’ll be out. With Brooks out, free agent addition Cato June has moved over to weakside linebacker and is looking impressive. Wideout Maurice Stovall left practice with dehydration, but head coach Jon Gruden says he will be just fine. The afternoon special teams practice was postponed because of rain. The team will practice twice today. The morning session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11.a.m. The afternoon practice goes from 2:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
