Williams hurt

The Buccaneers began their season with a 20-6 loss to the Seahawks yesterday from Qwest Field. The Bucs got a pair of field goals from Matt Bryant to take an early 6-0 lead but that was it. Seattle rattled off 20 unanswered points the rest of the way. Shaun Alexander rushed 27 times for 105 yards and a touchdown. Matt Hasselbeck threw for 222 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown pass to Maurice Morris in the fourth quarter to seal it. Tampa Bay only mustered 284 yards of total offense and turned it over twice. Bucs running back Cadillac Williams had 12 carries for 60 yards but left the game with bruised ribs and did not return. Bucs QB Jeff Garcia completed 19 of 27 for 201 yards and left the game with a head injury but did return. The 0-and-1 Bucs will have their home opener next Sunday against the 0-and-1 Saints.
