Bucs-Panthers Injury Report, Piscitelli Done

Galloway given Wednesday off

The Buccaneers and Panthers released their injury reports for Sunday’s showdown from Charlotte.  The Bucs are guessing as to which quarterback they will face Sunday in Carolina.  Panthers starting QB Jake Delhomme strained his throwing elbow last Sunday at Atlanta and did not practice yesterday.  Delhomme is very questionable and may not play.  Backup David Carr took the first team reps at practice yesterday and will likely start if Delhomme is unable to go.  For the Bucs, wideout Joey Galloway and tackle Luke Petitgout were given Wednesday off as usual.  Cornerback Brian Kelly was limited with a groin injury but is expected to play.  Defensive end Patrick Chukwurah did practice despite being bothered by a knee injury.  There’s a good chance he will make his season debut on Sunday.  There is some bad news on the injury front. Rookie safety Sabby Piscitelli is out for the rest of the season with a broken foot.  To fill his spot on the roster, wideout Chad Lucas was promoted from the practice squad.
