Bucs Look For Running Backs, Stevens Sentenced

Williams (24) outruns St. Louis Rams' Adam Carriker to the end zone for a third quarter touchdown during a football game Sunday Sept. 23, 2007, in Tampa, Fla.

With running back Cadillac Williams out for the season, the Buccaneers are looking for replacements.  According to reports, the team was rebuffed by Corey Dillon.  There is also interest in Vikings running back Mewelde Moore and even the name Tiki Barber has been mentioned in a wild rumor.  In other team news, tight end Jerramy Stevens was sentenced yesterday to 12 days in prison in Arizona after his conviction for DUI.  Stevens is appealing, which allows him to continue playing.
