NFL Suspends Stevens For Sunday’s Game
Posted by Matt Loede on December 12th, 2007 in News
The NFL has suspended Bucs tight end Jerramy Stevens for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons at Raymond James Stadium. The league also fined Stevens an additional game check for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Back in September, Stevens was found guilty of DUI in Arizona and was sentenced to 12 days in prison. That ruling was appealed by his attorneys. The suspension will cost Stevens $75-thousand in salary. Stevens will be back with the team next week and will be eligible to play in December 23rd at San Francisco.
