Buccaneers kick returner Micheal Spurlock and Dolphins quarterback Cleo Lemon get the NFL spotlight for weekly honors. Both were awarded players of the week. Spurlock returned a kick 90 yards for a touchdown to earn NFC special teams honors. It was the first kickoff-return for a score in franchise history. Lemon won the AFC offensive award after leading Miami to its first win of the season. He finished 23-of-29 for 315 yards with one touchdown, and a game-winning TD pass to Greg Camarillo in overtime.
