Bisaccia Hired as Bucs Running Backs Coach
Posted by Matt Loede on February 13th, 2008 filed in NewsThe Bucs will be keeping their running backs coach position in house, as the team has announced that special teams coordinator Richard Bisaccia has been given the position. The team was hoping that former fullback Mike Alstott would take the position, but he passed on it. The position was formerly manned by Art Valero, but he bolted at the end of the season to take a job with the St.Louis Rams. Bisaccia has been the Bucs special teams coach for the past six seasons, but worked with the running backs when he was an assistant at South Carolina, Clemson and Ole Miss.
