The Buccaneers have released defensive linemen Kevin Carter and Greg Spires. The 34-year-old Carter was due a $2-million roster bonus and could be brought back. The 33-year-old Spires helped the Bucs win the Super Bowl back in 2002. The moves means the Bucs have more than $40-million in cap room. In other news, former Falcons defensive tackle Rod Coleman visited with the team yesterday. The Bucs also met with his former teammate Alge Crumpler this week.
