The Bucs have spent a lot of time the last year looking for a quality backup, and today they found one with a deal with the Bears for former Bucs QB Brian Griese. The team will bring the 33-year-old back to be the backup for Jeff Garcia. The deal is for an undisclosed draft pick, and the St.Petersburg Times is reporting it’s likely for nothing more than a seventh-rounder. Griese will battle the likes of Luke McCown, Bruce Gradkowski and maybe Chris Simms for the right to be the number two QB.
