The suspension for TE Jeremy Stevens became official today, as the league handed two a two-game suspension on him for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. The league also said any additional violations between now and the start of the season would increase the suspension to three games. Stevens also would face additional discipline for a new violation. It was reported yesterday that Stevens would likely get suspended, as he did serve a one-game suspension last year, and will now finish out the suspension in 08. The former first-round draft pick was convicted of DUI in September and was suspended for the Bucs week 15 game vs the Falcons last season.
