Bucs Finding Ways to Use Jackson’s Speed in 08

Florida Today is reporting that the Bucs are thrilled with WR Dexter Jackson, and are looking for ways to use his speed to their advantage in the 2008 season. “Dexter Jackson gives us a threat to go down the field,” said Bucs coach Jon Gruden. “The biggest thing for me, being a rookie right now, is just learning my role and learning it from the best,” Jackson said. “Special teams will be my immediate impact, hopefully.” Jackson has been working with fellow Bucs WR Joey Galloway, learning the ins and outs of being a good NFL receiver. Look for Jackson to get plenty of playing time at both WR and as a punt returner this season.

I have to admit…..I don’t know much about this guy. I know he has made a big impact in practice situations. I’m not usually one to jump on bandwagons though, so I’ll wait and see what he does before I comment. I do however hope he is the next Marques Colston.
