Gruden Shoots Down Talk About Favre to Tampa Bay

Jon Gruden today said the Brett Favre issue is a dead one for now, and refused to talk about it today at Bucs camp.  “You can talk to Brett, yourself.  If we have permission, I”m sure you do, too,” Gruden said.  “I don’t have any reports on Brett, okay.  There’ll be some more opportunities to write stories on this situation.  It’s a great story to cover.  I wish I had time to cover all the things that are going on.  His situation is going to handle itself.”  Reports that the Bucs have permission to talk to Favre have gone back and forth today, with some sources sayint that is NOT the case.  Only time will tell truly what type of drama is going to come next in the Favre-to-Tampa Bay saga.
