Galloway’s Foot Actually Broken Earlier This Year

An interesting note about Joey Galloway came out today in the St.Petersburg Times, which states that Galloway’s foot was actually broken earlier this year. The team had announced that the reason Galloway had missed five games was due to a foot sprain, but in fact the foot was broken. Galloway said it broke in week two vs Atlanta at home, and did not want the info public because he wanted other teams to think he might play. “It was a six-week injury. I don’t know how you portray anything. It was a six-week injury. I’ll let (Galloway) answer those questions. All I know is we play Detroit Sunday,” coach Jon Gruden said today.
