Phillips (and most strong safeties) is instrumental in the Bucs' run defense. Our RD was awful in the last month of the season, and that means Phillips (on top of our miserable defensive tackles) didn't do the job. Let him go somewhere else, dedicate the money we would have given him to getting either Albert Haynesworth or Brandon Jacobs. I’d be fine with it if the Bucs let him walk.
