Bucs Feel They Can Resign Antonio Bryant

A big offseason question for the Bucs will be if the team will be bringing back WR Antonio Bryant. A recent item in Pro Football Weekly talks about that very subject:

Despite the firing of Jon Gruden, sources in Tampa say the Bucs are still confident they can re-sign WR Antonio Bryant without using the franchise tag. In his first season in Tampa, Bryant had developed a bond with Gruden and thrived in his offense after sitting out for all of the 2007 campaign when no team was willing to sign him because of off-the-field concerns. The Bucs, however, are optimistic about Bryant’s return because WR coach Richard Mann, who worked will with Bryant, is expected to remain on staff in new head coach Raheem Morris’ regime.
