Bucs Hire Jagodzinski as New Offensive Coordinator
Posted by Matt Loede on January 30th, 2009 in News

The Bucs have a new offensive coordinator, as the team announced today that they have hired Jeff Jagodzinski. It was just three weeks ago that Jagodzinski was fired by Boston College for taking an NFL interview. He led Boston College to an Atlantic Coast Conference championship game in each of his two seasons.
He was a candidate to be the San Francisco 49ers’ offensive coordinator before accepting the job with the Bucs. He was fired after taking an interview for the vacant New York Jets job that in the end went to Rex Ryan. He will join the staff of new Bucs coach Raheem Morris, who takes over for Jon Gruden who was canned.
Jagodzinski had three years left on the five-year contract he signed for his first head coaching job.
