New Buccaneers OC Jeff Jagodzinski talked to the media for the first time today, and the St.Petersburg Times reports that Jagodzinski will run a more “downhill” attack. Here is the story:
Buccaneers OC Jeff Jagodzinski said he will implement a zone-blocking scheme for more of a “downhill” running attack in addition to simplifying the termonology in the team’s playbook. “What I have tried to do is limit the terminology,” he said. “You can say the same thing without a lot of words. I think it will be player friendly.” Jagodzinski also said he’d still use degrees of the west-coat offense, but he’d like to be more aggressive in the red zone and he’d consider using WRs Antonio Bryant and Joey Galloway on the field together.
