Morris Speaks on the Injury to WR Bryant

Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris, quoted on cbs42.com regarding WR Antonio Bryant’s knee surgery that will sideline him for all of the preseason:

“He probably can come back the last preseason game, but I’m probably going to be mentally weak and not play him and just wait for Dallas, and we’ll figure it out as we go. I’m not sure yet, but let’s get that thing fixed so he can be ready for Dallas.” Morris added: “I know when he banged it, I believe it was the Carolina game, when he had his big 200-yard game and he kind of walked it off and it’s just kind of been lingering. It goes away and it swells up, it goes away and it swells up, so now we thought it’s just not worth it. Let’s go ahead and fix it up and get him ready for Dallas. He’s had a pretty good training camp so far.”
