Antonio Bryant Ready for Season Opener

After missing the preseason, wide receiver Antonio Bryant is ready for the season opener, according to Tampa Tribune

After being without a job for 2007 and his come back year in 2008 when he had 83 catches, 1,248 yards and seven touchdowns, Bryant is ready to silence the doubters in 2009. The Bucs are hoping for a similar performance this year and Bryant is confident he can do what is expected, despite having surgery.

“I feel good,” Bryant said. “I don’t have any pain. I think along with a couple of other things and adrenaline, I won’t think about the knee too much.”

Even though the Dallas Cowboys let him go five years ago, he is not thinking of retribution but he wants to prove the doubting fans and media that they are wrong about the Bucs.
