Tuesday Morning News and Notes

  • Rookie WR Sammie Stroughter’s season is done after he suffered a broken foot sometime late in the Seattle game.Practice squad WR Mario Urrutia was promoted to the active roster. Although it appears the kick off and punt return duties will be handled by WR Yamon Figurs, RB Kareem Huggins or possibly Cadillac Williams. We’ll find out later in the week.
  • S Tanard Jacksons knee doesn’t appear to be as bad as it seems as HC Raheem Morris claims it’s day to day for now. I say throw him on IR and call it a season. We definitely need some type of consistency back there next year and he has been the only one to deliver on a regular basis.
  • A lot of talk is going around about “job security” with these Bucc coaches. Coach Morris had this to say at yesterdays press conference,

“Job security is not an issue for coaches,’’ Morris said Monday. “We don’t have any. You just go out there and present your best self every day. That’s all I can do. We make decisions based on how do we beat our next opponent. There will be no decisions based on serving Raheem Morris, Mark Dominik or any player.’‘

For once, he actually put some sentences together that made COMPLETE sense. Losing was really wearing thin on the emotional Morris. I’m happy for him and fellow Bucc fans. WE come out on the better end of this with a W. Forget about Suh, theres always Gerald McCoy. And we can always move up if it’s that important, we have 10 picks in this years draft.

Morris followed up on his job security,

“There’s always guys on the bubble,’’ Morris said. “There’s always coaches on the bubble. How you respond to being on the bubble is what defines you as a man, as a coach or as a player. Those defining roles will come out in the next two weeks. We’re playing for us.’‘

If you’ve been following this mans press conference’s you can just see in his words that he’s a very happy man right now. And who can blame em after all the scrutiny from the media. Cheers Rah!

The real test for Raheem and if he will stay with the Buccs comes this week against a 13-1 saints team with one of the most prolific offense’s, EVER. If Morris can get his defense ready and hold them to around 20 points, I think that will impress the Glazers and fans enough to bring him in for another year. If he can’t, he better smoke Atlanta off the planet in the last week of the season if he’s even thinking about coming back.

Be sure to check back, we’ll have more for you later in the day.

If you’re in the corner and have got no cash to move out from that, you would have to receive the mortgage loans. Because it will help you definitely. I get sba loan every single year and feel myself fine because of it.
