Bucs to release veteran DT Chris Hovan

It seems that the Bucs are set to dump one of their vets, as reports are they are going to release Chris Hovan today:

The veterans that teams couldn’t give away during the draft are starting to get released fast. Bucs defensive tackle Chris Hovan will join Adalius Thomas and John Henderson as veteran defenders to get dumped on Monday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Hovan re-charged his career under Monte Kiffin in Tampa Bay, but his play fell off last year and he was due $4 million next season. The Bucs drafted defensive tackles Gerald McCoy and Brian Price with their first two picks over the weekend.
