Buccaneers Offer OT Donald Penn A One-Year Deal Worth $3.168M

The Bucs have offered Donald Penn a contract, it’s a one-year deal worth $3.168 million. No, it’s not the long-term deal he wants, but the Bucs have treated all of their restricted free agents, including Barrett Ruud and Cadillac Williams, the same way. They’re simply playing by the rules laid out in the collective bargaining agreement. My guess is Penn will get his long-term deal before next year. He has to show up at camp, though, and play another full season at a high level, that’s not asking too much, it’s good incentive.

  1. Jesse says:

3.1 million for one year is his tender offer that he has refused to sign this entire time. This is not new or news.
