CB Talib back with the club; team releases DE Lorig

The Bucs will have help back on Sunday when they take on the Panthers, as the team gets CB Aquib Talib back from a one-game suspension.

Fresh off a one game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, cornerback Aqib Talib rejoined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday. To make room for him on the active 53-man roster, the Bucs released defensive end Erik Lorig on Tuesday. Lorig was a seventh-round pick by the Buccaneers in the 2010 NFL Draft. Last August, Talib was arrested after assaulting a cab driver following a celebration with some teammates and that was the third incident that Talib had been involved in since joining the Bucs in 2008. Talib, 24, is expected to be at practice on Wednesday and will start against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
