Buccaneers sign free agent punter Robert Malone

The Bucs have yet another new punter, as the team today inked free agent punter Robert Malone. He steps in for Chris Bryan, who was released on Tuesday.

An undrafted rookie free agent from Fresno State, the right-footed Malone (6-2, 235) averaged 42.6 yards per punt during his college career. Malone was named first-team All-WAC in 2009 and was one of the few punters invited to the 2010 Scouting Combine.

Malone spent part of the off-season with the Jaguars, but was not brought to training camp.
