THE GOOD
Kellen Winslow and Mike Williams
It was such an ugly day all that I couldn’t really list anyone else here. Offensively, Freeman just couldn’t come up when they needed him to. They got their 19th first down before they got any points.
THE BAD
The Offense
While I don’t blame Morris for not using all the running backs this week as the defense put them in a huge hole.
The Tackling And Intensity
Chris Ivory had 15 carries for 158 yards, 29 for 119 in his first three games. The defense could not get any sacks on Drew Brees who is now in a rhythm with his ten different targets he hit, thanks to Tampa Bay. If their offense had been demoralized, Tampa Bay had to have lifted them up today.
LOOKING AHEAD
The truth is that Tampa Bay is a good, young team with strong leadership and plenty of playmakers. Losing this and the Pittsburgh game will be learning experiences rather than developmental obstacles. Next up, they host the upstart Rams.
