Bucs Pick Up the Two-Year Option on Coach Raheem Morris

The Bucs had a great season after a down 2009, and due to that and the progress of the team, the club has announced they have have picked up a two-year option on head coach Raheem Morris’ contract.

The deal was worth $2-million per season according to Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times. The 34-year-old coach led the Bucs to a 10-6 record with the youngest team in the NFL after going 3-13 in his first season as head coach. Morris’ new contract includes incentives that could pay him as much as $7-million over the next two years based on performance.
