ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia Leaves, Dwayne Stukes Promoted

Tampa Bay special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia will take over the same job left vacant for the Chargers. His apprentice Dwayne Stukes – who’s held multiple different special teams jobs for Tampa Bay over the years – is taking over.

I don’t view this as the Glazers being cheap.

From Bisaccia’s point of view, he’s wanted to move up in the coaching business for awhile and this is a huge opportunity to turn around a team whose special teams was far and away the worst last year.

From Tampa Bay’s point of view, this is not a position where you need to overpay. Special teams are crucial at times but it seems Stukes is more than qualified for this task. It doesn’t hurt to have Spurlock, Parker, Lynch, Watson and Hayward either.
