Potential Undrafted Free Agent Puts Up Ridiculous Bench-Pressing Numbers

The Bucs clearly need to add physical specimen who will get to the quarterback. When looking for such a player – interior or exterior –  there are a lot of factors that could indicate pass-rushing ability on the next level. I doubt bench-pressing is one of them.

For the draft junkies, I figured it would be fun to let them in on this year’s best at the 225 lb. bench:  Colorado School of Mines defensive lineman Blaine Sumner, a first-team All-RMAC selection, benched 225 pounds 52 times at his pro day display. That’s three more than Oregon State defensive lineman Steven Paea did.

Be careful when searching for him, as there is an adult film star with the same name.
