Bucs to Chat with USC OT Tyron Smith

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports USC blue-chip offensive tackle Tyron Smith is scheduled to visit at least a dozen teams, including the Colts, Lions, Patriots, Falcons, Buccaneers, Redskins, Vikings, Cowboys and the Browns, according to league sources with knowledge of the situation.

Smith also has a visit with another undisclosed NFC East team and more trips are being scheduled. Smith strengthened his draft status by running a 4.91 to 4.96 in the 40-yard dash during his Pro Day workout and bench pressed 225 pounds 31 times.

He registered a 30-inch vertical leap and a 9-2 broad jump. Smith also excelled in positional drills.
