Updated Overview of Pre-Draft Visits

When a team sets up a pre-draft visit, it’s impossible to gauge how interested they are. Usually, it means they are kind of interested in the visiting player, but maybe more interested in another player – often of the same position – with the team is disguising their pick. The later the player is expected to go, the less likely the interest is smoke and mirrors. Here is the list so far and where I expect they will be taken in the draft:

Miami defensive tackle/end Allen Bailey, early third round.

Miami wide receiver Leonard Hankerson, early second round.

*Newberry safety Ron Parker, late fifth-seventh round.

*Fresno State linebacker Chris Carter, fifth round.

California defensive end Cameron Jordan, mid-to-late first round.

South Florida wide receiver Dontavia Bogan, seventh round.

Georgia OLB Justin Houston, late first round.

Oklahoma State running back Kendall Hunter, early-to-mid second round.

Citadel cornerback Cortez Allen, fourth-fifth round.

Justin Houston would definitely become a leader and bring up that sack total (26) from last year.
