Buccaneers Fined $250,000 For Player Contact During Lockout

The Buccaneers organization was fined a total of $250,000 for improper contact between players and coaches during the lockout, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

During his “NFL Insider” segment on the CBS pregame show in Week 1, former NFL executive Charley Casserly reported that the Buccaneers were one of the teams the NFL was investigating for improper player contact.

Back in June, Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris admitted to a caller on radio station WDAE in Tampa that he was in contact with running back LeGarrette Blount, as well as wide receivers Sammie Stroughter and Dezmon Briscoe.
