Buccaneers safety Sean Jones was fined $20,000 for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Panthers wide receiver Legedu Naanee on Sunday, Stephen Holder of the St. Petersburg Times reports.
Jones was penalized 15 yards on the play. The veteran safety is earning a $2.75 million base salary this season.
Not fined this week was defensive tackle Brian Price, whose personal foul penalty in the third quarter resulted in his own coach ejecting him from the game.
