Jones-Drew Scores Four; Bucs Pounded by Jags 41-14

Seven turnovers, giving up four touchdowns to one player. What more really needs to be said?

The Bucs Sunday found a way to turn at one point a 14-0 lead into a 41-14 loss, as the team was run over by Maurice Jones-Drew, as finished with two rushing scores and two receiving touchdowns to go with 136 total yards. With the four scores, Jones-Drew has 73 career touchdowns, establishing a new Jaguars franchise record.

Josh Freeman came back for the Bucs after missing last Sunday’s loss to the Panthers, and probably should have taken another week off. He threw for 181 yards and two interceptions on 16-of-30 passing, while running for 26 yards and a score.

The Bucs got 74 yards and a score on the ground from LeGarrette Blount, who opened a 14-0 lead but turned the ball over seven times and have lost seven straight.

Blaine Gabbert threw for 217 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, while Marcedes Lewis grabbed two passes for 77 yards for the Jaguars (4-9), who snapped a three-game losing streak and earned their first win under interim head coach Mel Tucker.

For the Bucs, their 2011 will continue next week as they play the Cowboys at home on Saturday night at 8:20pm.
