John Shoop on the Bucs List to Talk to for the OC Job

The Buccaneers are interviewing University of North Carolina offensive coordinator John Shoop for their offensive coordinator position.

Shoop has spent the last five seasons with the Tar Heels. Prior to his current position, Shoop quarterbacks with the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator from 2001-03.

Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano has also interviewed Ron Turner and University of Virginia offensive coordinator Bill Lazor for the position and has been denied permission to interview Green Bay Packers tight ends coach Ben McAdoo and Arizona Cardinals receivers coach John McNulty.

Lazor has opted to remain with he Cavaliers.
