If you were watching today’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets, you saw Antonio Brown have a meltdown midway during the third quarter, removing his shoulder pads and jersey, running across the end zone and heading to the team’s locker room, throwing a peace sign to the fans as he left.
According to the FOX broadcast, Brown “boiled over” about something and could not be convinced to stay with the team on the sideline. Many think he was upset that he wasn’t getting enough play, seeing as how there was a lot of money on the line for him.
You can see some different footage people at the game captured:

Here's a sideline view of what happened with Antonio Brown. Looks like Mike Evans was trying to calm him down but nothing was going to help. AB took everything off and left.

He needed 8 more catches to unlock a $333,333 bonus. He also needed 55 receiving yards to unlock another $333,333 bonus. He also needed just 1 receiving TD to unlock another $333,333 bonus.
So it’s entirely possible he felt like he was getting screwed out of a potential $1 million payday by not getting the ball thrown to him enough and had a subsequent meltdown.
Regardless, he’s burned that bridge now, with coach Bruce Arians making it clear after the game that Antonio Brown is no longer a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, saying “He is no longer a Buc. That’s the end of the story.”

I suspect that AB will have a different account of what happened, and the next few days should definitely be entertaining.
