Posted in The Buccaneers were considering Chiefs director of player personnel Chris Ballard for their vacant general manager position but were unable to interview him. According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Chiefs blocked Ballard from interviewing for the job since coach Lovie Smith has final say over personnel instead of the general manager.
