The top free agent the Bucs have that need re-signing are Barrett Ruud and right guard Davin Joseph. I think Barrett Ruud is a very valuable player. Beyond that, here are two names I think would look great in Tampa.
Terrell Owens, WR. He’s often thought of as a bad teammate, but he does make friends within the receivers group at each stop. He sure didn’t make a lot of money in Cincinnati last year and I think he can be had for cheaper this year. What does he bring you? Size and speed. Moreover, I really feel like the Bucs’ four-receiver set becomes very deadly when they keep bringing strong height and upper body strength combined with a quarterback who can scramble and rocket.
Danieal Manning, FS. He’s got experience in the Tampa 2, he covers a lot of ground, he’s athletic and can score when he gets a turnover. This would mean cutting ties with Tanard JAckson and turning over a new leaf.
