The Buccaneers have claimed former Titans and Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth off waivers after he was waived by the Patriotsyesterday.
Haynesworth has 30.5 sacks, 26 passes defensed and two Pro Bowl appearances. I don’t think he’ll see any action in Sunday’s crucial home game against the Texans. The 4-4 Bucs are currently third in the NFC South, yet still in the Wild Card picture. This is a bold move to try to replace 2010 first-rounder Gerald McCoy, who could be out seven weeks with injury.
Click “Like” if you think Raheem Morris and defensive line coach Keith Millard can get something out of Albert Haynesworth.
